I remember when I was only 4 yrs old, my mother took me on my very first flight. We flew from the east coast to the west coast. There’s not much that I remember about the details of that trip but I do remember the feeling of excitement.
Do you recall that feeling when you took your first flight? Do you still feel that when you travel? I do. Strolling (or rushing) through the airport with bags in tow, a fresh coffee in-hand, double-checking gate numbers and boarding times, with freedom and excitement flowing through your veins.
Every time I fly to a new destination I think about what a big, beautiful world we inhabit and how fortunate we are to explore a new part of it. Traveling not only adds new memories, it expands who you are as a person, almost like weight-lifting for your soul. The beautiful places, the amazing food, the incredible cultures and people are out there waiting for you. Traveling plants them within your heart and mind, forever becoming part of you.
